Understanding your expert dashboard

A complete walkthrough of your earnings, analytics, availability settings, and booking flow.

1

Overview of your dashboard

Your expert dashboard is your command centre. It shows you upcoming bookings, recent earnings, profile analytics, and client messages — all in one place. Access it from any device after logging in.

2

Managing your availability

The Availability tab lets you publish 30, 60, or 90-minute slots on specific dates in IST, with a 90-minute break after each slot. Saturdays and Sundays are supported. Members can book only published slots; bookings are automatically accepted and confirmed after payment. Keep your availability updated — stale availability (slots that show as open but you cannot honour) leads to cancellations and hurt your response rate metric.

  • Choose specific dates and publish 30, 60, or 90-minute session slots
  • Use "Block dates" for holidays and personal commitments
  • Enable instant booking only for time slots you are confident about
  • Review your availability settings at the start of each week

Understanding your bookings

The Bookings tab shows all upcoming and past sessions. Each booking includes the client's name, session topic, time, and any pre-session notes they submitted. Review these notes before every session. You can accept or decline booking requests from this tab — accepting within 2 hours improves your acceptance rate score.

4

Earnings and payouts

Your Earnings tab shows total earnings, pending payouts, and a transaction history. Here is how the payout cycle works:

- The session fee is collected from the member at booking - Shrut keeps a platform fee of 25% of the session fee and pays you the rest, less any tax the law requires - After the session is completed, your payout is sent to your verified bank account, with a statement - You need a PAN and a verified bank account on file before your first payout

The Expert resource guide has a worked example under "Getting paid".

  • Mark sessions as complete promptly after they end
  • Add your PAN and bank account in Settings before your first payout
  • Download your earnings statement monthly for tax records

Profile analytics

The Analytics tab shows how many people viewed your profile, your conversion rate (viewers to bookings), and your average rating over time. Use this data to identify what is working. If your view count is high but bookings are low, focus on improving your profile conversion. If views are low, focus on SEO and external promotion.

6

Messaging clients

You can message clients directly through the platform before and after sessions. Use this for pre-session alignment, sharing resources, and sending follow-up summaries. Keep all communication on-platform to protect both parties.
